I create master copies for two distinct reasons. First, it allows me to study directly from the old masters. Replicating their brilliant techniques, brushwork, and compositional strategies is a time-honored way to understand how these historical masterpieces were built. Second, I want to give art lovers the opportunity to bring a museum experience into their own homes.
